Got junk? Me too. Mine’s stored in a closet, parent’s garage, etc. I’m pretty sure we’re all pack rats to some degree. Now there’s a solution - JunkDepot.
Aimed at getting rid of those Coca-Cola vending machines or bathroom sinks you have taking up space, JunkDepot is the craigslist for packrats, savior for annoyed spouses, a proponent for reputable commerce. That’s right, they’re committed to Rapleaf’s mission that “It is more profitable to be ethical ©.” If you now check out JunkDepot, you’ll see they’re using Rapleaf as their rating system.
And they’re free, just like Rapleaf. They’ve even integrated with one of Rapleaf’s other partners edgeio, among a bunch of other services.
In a matter of no time, you’ll get rid of all your junk (while improving your reputation).
The Washington Post just posted an article called The Ol’ Bait and Click, where they cover how far swindlers will go in deceiving online buyers. An example of a typical scam is to sell low priced items, receive positive feedback, sell a larger item, and then screw over the buyer. Unfortunately this happens a lot and this is something we’re trying to solve with Rapleaf.
And speaking of Rapleaf, we’re mentioned towards the end of the 2nd page. Check it out! It’s a great article with some key insight, so I suggest reading it.
And if you want to fight back against these swindlers and promote your reputation, sign up here.
We all wish we had a personal assistant. At least someone to do us favors from time to time. Now there’s a site dedicated to that: JobFavors. How cool is that?
And what makes them that much more awesome is that they integrated Rapleaf into each seeker/doer’s listing. From their site:
JobFavors.com connects people who are in need of favors with people who are in need of cash! You can search tens of thousands of favors posted by people in your community. Doing a little deed for your neighbor is now a profitable adventure.
So sign up for JobFavors, post a favor, and further promote your reputation. Or better yet, do a favor for someone, get paid, and increase your reputation.
As some of you may have noticed, we updated the pink sticker at the top right of the Upscoop homepage. We’re now at over 20 million profiles searched! Amazing!
We encourage you to sign back in and see any updated results (if you haven’t done so already). And upload your other address books to get the full spectrum of where your friends are at.
Also, we’ve been busy adding additional sites to search and additional features. Be on the lookout for other changes and upgrades soon to come.
