Rapleaf is booming and we’re looking for an awe-inspiring sales/business development person. We want someone with a tidal wave of energy coupled with a storm of ferocity and an intense rain-making ability. If you’re one of these people, get in touch with us! Position specs are below.

About Rapleaf:

Rapleaf is an internet startup in San Francisco backed by some of the most well-known investors in Silicon Valley. Clients include e-commerce companies, lead gen firms, telcos, and more; these clients learn about their customers in order to give them a better user experience. Our aim is to whitelist the world.

Goal:

To make it more profitable to be ethical.

Role:
- Develop new revenue streams.

- Sell new and existing customers.

- Lead in all aspects of deal development, prospecting, sourcing, negotiating and closing. This will include strategic partnerships, distribution deals, and corporate development.

- First sales/BD person at company (to date all sales have been made by the CEO).

- Contribute to product and strategy development efforts. Work closely with the CEO, product/marketing, and technology leads.

- Change the world and make it more profitable to be ethical.

Qualifications:

- You’re the best salesperson you know and you have a history of bringing in a lot of revenue for the companies you have worked for.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Entrepreneurial, intensely driven, creative, and proactive.

- Extremely hard working. This is a start-up - team members work long hours.

- Thrive on working with A-players. Too good to spend long hours with B-players.

- Likeable person who garners respect on and off the job.

- Thrive on chaos, risk, and uncertainty.

- Should be easy to get along with, nice, fun, smart, ethical, and low-maintenance.

- Strong desire to build a more ethical society.

- Desire to be an early employee and want to be a real owner in Rapleaf’s future.

- Should want to live in or near San Francisco (relocation package available if necessary)
